Forest products harvesting and marketing demand analysis of silvicultural and market information for which systematic database need to be built up. Forest managers can periodically review and synthesis such databases to plan for finance, logistics and more importantly to economise the expenditure. A computer programme, 'Kendumod' was developed to analyse the costs and profit of Tendu trading in Orissa. it used the time series data to forecast the future costs and profit from Tendu leaf trading.
