Effect of growth regulator (IBA) was studied in combination with co-factor, sucrose and fungicide (0.2% p-HBA, 2% sucrose, 5% captan) on ischolar_maining of branch cuttings collected from three years old healthy fast growing plants in early spring season. The IBA concentration ranged from 0.01% to 0.10% plus each containing 0.2% p-HBA, 2% sucrose and 5% captan. The sprouting and ischolar_maining characteristics viz.; per cent ischolar_maining, number of leaves per cutting, sprout length, primary ischolar_main number, primary ischolar_main length, fresh ischolar_main weight and dry ischolar_main weight varied significantly among different treatments. Treatment of cuttings with chemical formulation of 0.02% IBA + 0.2% p-HBA + 2% sucrose + 5% captan maximized ischolar_maining (96.05%), number of leaves per cutting (7.46), primary ischolar_main number (12.56), primary ischolar_main length (7.91 cm), fresh ischolar_main weight (8.62 g) and dry ischolar_main weight (5.64 g). Significant coefficients of correlation were found among different character pairs which were straight forward.
