The paper deals with the natural distribution and ecological status of non-human primates in Arunachal Pradesh. The biodiversity, distribution and threatening factors have been highlighted. 4 genera and 7 species (and one likely i.e. Rhinopithecus raxellanae, Milne-Edwards) are reported. The primates are not much threatened in Arunachal Pradesh except the stump-tailed and the pigtailed Macaques. Further detailed investigation is urgently needed which will contribute more information to the Indian Primatology.
