Various concentrations of Stik (0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0,2.0 mgml-1) initiated higher percentage of ischolar_maining as well as sprouting of nodes, but only less subsequent shoot growth in the stem cuttings of Vitex nigundo. Similar concentrations of GA3 have hardly shown any ischolar_maining initiation, but also lower sprouting percentage, although, it exhibited greater subsequent shoot growth than that of Stik. Stik at 0.5 and 1.0 mgml-1 level have given maximum percentage of moisture content of the ischolar_mains, with 100% ischolar_maining response in cuttings.
