   Subscribe/Renew Journal

The scale of crop damage by wildlife is briefly reviewed and it is noted that whilst the problem is widespread, and locally may attain serious proportions, there is a great paucity of factual information on tbe subject. Elephant damage is the most well documented. Various methods of active and preventive barriers are described and the rapidly growing technology of power fencing in Indian conditions is discussed.
