Examining HRM Practices as Mediator

This study examines the effects of strategic approach of human resource management (HRM) practices on employee’s attitudes such as organizational commitment, job satisfaction, employee involvement and turnover.Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test the hypothesized relationship,and the data were collected from 571 non-human resource department employees in Malaysia. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) demonstrated a reasonable fit of the model to the data.This study found the mediation effect of HRM practices between business strategy and employee outcomes showed mixed results
