Online Retail in India is growing at a very fast pace in India. Even as it is growing it is beginning to cause disruption to the traditional brick and mortar retail outlets as well as causing discomfort to established brands. This conceptual paper looks at how online retail is gradually becoming a disruptive force in India. It threatens to upstage the traditional retail as well hurt a few top brands.
