Information is a resource about resources. Its management in a productive manner enhances wealth production and employment generation. Management of information is a complex process entailing the intangibles. It has to guide them towards tangible and realistic results. The global information environment has quickened the access and delivery of information. Information can be moved from any point of generation to any point of use instantaneously. This process calls for the enhancement of reliability and simplicity of information and its sources. Evaluation of information from diverse points of view has to be done. Information professionals have to identify, analyze, synthesize and package the information besides evaluation. The various analytical and evaluative processes, call for judgement processes using citations analysis, innovation analysis and application potential studies.
