Application of Bloom’s Taxonomy in Library and Information Science : An Assessment

Abstract Bloom’s Taxonomy has been used as a tool to develop sound teaching-learning processes in many fields; however, there has been very little on the application of the taxonomy in Library and Information Science. This paper outlines how the evaluation process could be more logical and scientific to ensure the necessary skills, which are necessary for day to day work of library professionals. Based on different levels of Bloom's Taxanomy a few sample questions are given.
