Functional Approach of Libraries in Research and Development Activities in the 21st Century: a Study

Libraries play a significant role in research and development activities in any organization and the way libraries serve their clients in twenty first century has changed thoroughly well. A survey of services provided by the National Institute of Technology (Kurukshetra) Library and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Patiala) Library was undertaken with questionnaire as the data collection tool to know the roles of the two libraries in research and development activities of the organizations.
