The paper discusses the need for digital libraries for open and distance learners in India. It also highlights the various features of the digital libraries for open and distance learners; looks into the problems and issues related to the provision of library services to the open and distance learners in India. Utility of digital libraries is further examined and strategies for its adoption are suggested.
