In recent years seldom books based on Ph.D. thesis are published, hence this is a welcome contribution in this context. It would be appropriate in this juncture to recall the establishment of libraries in theerst while Bombay Presidency under the Fayzee Committee - Native Public Libraries and Coronation Jubilee Libraries. This historical past is just to enlighten the young professionals as this area was a seat of learning and was ably supported by the libraries under different aegis and libraries such as Mumbai Marathi Granath Sangrahalaya can really be considered as a "Pride of Mumbai" in this tradition.
