The study discusses the prevailing conditions of the Agricultural Science University Libraries in South India. The study deals with the year of establishment, user's community, working hours, building, collection, professional staff, financial recourses, library automation etc., were discussed in detail. The findings are very useful for the development of the agricultural university libraries in India in general and south India in particular.
