Information technology is ever innovative in its approach to deliver information to the points of use. It does transfer information at a speed and response conducive to the searchers' comfort. The Developments in digital library system has increased these capacities to greater facilitation. The frameworks for a digital library system is a step towards this fast growing media of information. Digital libraries have come to stay. We have to either convert the traditional libraries into digital libraries or directly develop digital libraries.
