Innovative Teaching of Library and Information Sciences
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Innovative teaching techniques promote creative abilities of the students. Advanced courses in library and information sciences should, therefore, adopt creative methods of teaching and learning, such as Brainstorming, Synectics Problem Solving Excursions, and Systems Approach. Case studies provide the base for the adoption of these methods. Library and Information Sciences provide plenty of scope for the preparation of such case studies for teaching and learning purposes. Development of creative ability among future leaders of the profession would certainly go a long way in meeting the unforeseen situations with greater confidence.
