Computer and Communications Technology - Implications for Development of Curricula for Library and Information Work

Training programmes in Library and Information Science try to provide for optionals in information technology. But the role of these technology is ail pervasive. The paper presents a curriculum for information technology in 3 paper-module, namely, Information System, Library Automation and Information Retrieval. This forms a module for Masters Degree Courses.
