Information Retrieval is the process of selecting required information from a collection of information. It primarily helps a person who needs to get some information on his activities, be it research, problem-solving, decision-making, production, service, etc. In fact, information retrieval is akin to the personal conversation in which one seeker tries to get answers to his doubts and questions from another person.
