Cognitive Modelling of Formation of Knowledge

Media technology and didactics have been searching for a cognitive theory. It indicates an increasing concern for the internal processes of knowledge formation. The text and pictures representing knowledge and their implications to active-user's intellectual processes have to be studied from several perspectives. The implications can be categorised into following aspects:

1. Approaches to knowledge formation from texts and pictures.

2. Study of intricacies about presentation of information in media and its effects on mental models.

3. A neuropsychological approach to thought modelling in human brain.
