The study focused on the relationship between the big five factors of personality (Extraversion, Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Neuroticism, and Openness to Experience) and generalized perceived selfefficacy with team performance among professionals of non-profit rural development organizations. The results suggest that Extraversion, Agreeableness and Conscientiousness are positively related with team performance and Neuroticism was negatively related with it. Generalized perceived self-efficacy and openness to experience are not related with team performance. Regression analysis results show that the big five factors of personality along with generalized perceived self-efficacy explained 31% of variance in team performance. However, only Extra-version, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness had significant unique contribution to the variance in performance.
