Presently efforts are on to increase the enrollment rates in higher learning institutions. But equal attention is not given to make them employable. The enrolled youth in higher learning institutions have developed aspiration to make themselves to be employable and yet opportunities are less as there is a gap between the policy of the government and the implementation in the higher learning institutions in terms of skilling the youth. There should be consciousness on the part of the leaders of higher learning institutions in skilling our youth to get the advantage of demographic dividends. Equally, state governments have to create an enabling environment to integrate the skilling process with the academic programs in higher learning institutions.
