Assessment of Enzymic and Non Enzymic Antioxidants in Mice Treated with Protein Fractions of Arugampul, Karpuravalli and Thulasi against CCL4 Induced Toxicity
Subscribe/Renew Journal
The Human populations are exposed occupational and environmentally to carcinogens, and develop tissue damage and alterations in the genetic background, which will vary from individual to individual within the populations. The environmental pollutants and toxins such as carbon tetra chloride mainly produce tissue damage. Tissue damage is primarily triggered by free radical produced by the pollutants and toxins, which is also responsible for lipid peroxidation of the organelles of the cell and consequent breakdown of their biological functions.
