Differentials of Malnutrition in Well-To-Do Adults and the Associated Factors
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Though studies on health and nutritional status of children are available, work on adults is very limited. Studies in developed countries showed that prevalence rates of overweight or obesity are very high. Prevalence rates of undernutrition have been found to be high in adults of poor socioeconomic groups in countries like India. Also female adults were found more in number as anaemic or undernourished than male adults in poor income groups in India. In developed countries females have been with better expectation of life than males.
