Femur Bone Mineralization in Chickens Fed Maize and Rice Bran Based Diets

High phytin content in the feeds interferes with the availability of the dietary calcium that the availability of calcium on a diet based on rice bran was lower than on diet based on maize. Rice bran is an important food resource in India. The present investigation was conducted to study the effect of feeding diets based on rice bran to growing chickens on the mineralization of their femur bones.
