Preliminary Trials to Investigate the Feasibilty of Using Mahuda Flowers (Mahuda indica or Bassla latifolia) as an Energy Source in an Experimental Model

Mahuda tree is found in mixed deciduous forests, cultivated fields and waste lands in many states in India. The flowers of these trees are used as a major source of liquor preparation while during famine flower are consumed as a major food source by the tribals.
