Starch Conversion Technology

Starch from corn, potato, wheat and tapioca accounts for a major portion of world agricultural production. Of this amount, only one percent is further processed, or converted. Such processed starches are important as sweeteners, food additives, beverages, thickeners, adhesives, and even sources of fuel.
