This book, Food, Nutrition and Climate is the publication of proceedings of the fifth symposium organised by the Advisory Committee on Nutrition and Crop Husbandry of the Rank Prize Funds. A mixture of experts from so many scientific disciplines namely nutritionists, physiologists, biochemists, plant breeders, marine biologists, plant pathologists, soil scientists, agricultural economists and meteorologists have explored the effects of climate attempt to bring out the interaction between climate and the soil, and climate and crop distribution.
