It is well established that trace elements, play a prominent. role through enzyme and. vitamin systems in .maintaining health and productivity of livestock. Deficiency symptoms and disorders as also decreased productivity of animals have been widely reported to be due to the' deficiency of essential trace minerals in the feeds and fodders in certain areas world over.
