Inhibition of Lipid Peroxidation by Garlic in Carbon Tetrachloride Induced Liver Intoxication

The superoxide radical (O 2 - ) responsible for lipid peroxidation and membrane damage are generated from different sources. More over environmental factors like ultraviolet (uv) light, ionic radiations, toxic chemicals and metals also cause free radical formation.
