Researchers from the University of Pittsburgh's Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic have determined that the Ayurvedic herb Ashwagandha can significantly treat elements of bipolar disorder. The researchers randomly divided 60 DSM-IV bipolar patients into two groups among whom 53 patients completed the study.
