Abstract

The term adolescence meaning to "emerge or achieve identity" is a relatively new concept, especially in development and thinking. World Health Organisation (WHO) defines adolescence both in terms of age (spanning the age between 10 and 19 years) and in terms of a phase of life marked by special attributes.

Abstract

Interest in phytochemicals (plant based chemical substances) has skyrocketed in recent years. More than 4000 phenolic phytochemicals have been identified. The main classes of dietary phenolic phytochemicals' are presented in the flow chart. This chart distinguishes the different classes of phenolic compounds found in plants, namely the flavonoids, phenolic acids and non-flavonoid polyphenols.

Abstract

Osteoporosis is a systemic disease characterized by low bone mass and microarchitectural deterioration of bone tissue, with a consequent increase in bone fragility and susceptibility to fracture.
