Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world. The education in engineering begins with theories and progressing to the application of learnt theories. Different methods exist in engineering teaching and learning process. Teaching can be done in many ways - Generally by giving lectures, demonstrations and deliberations. These ways focuses on principle content, emphasizing memory, applications, and understanding the subject. Learning by a student happens in many ways- by seeing and hearing, reflecting and acting, memorizing and visualizing and drawing analogies and building mathematical models. This paper mainly emphasis on innovative methods of teaching and learning process with multidisciplinary approaches to increase the standards of the engineering education and an illustration on engineering education.
