Reproductive Performance of Expectant Mothers

There are three important population groups who suffer from the ill effects of malnutrition. These vulnerable segments are preschool children, expectant mothers and nursing mothers. The diet of a mother during pregnancy is one of the most important factors in achieving a successful outcome of pregnancy in terms of a healthy baby and maintenance of her own health. The present study aimed at studying the reproductive performance of expectant mothers as related to their income and diet.
