Age of Menarche and Current Nutritional Status of Urban Girls of Different Socio Economic Groups

Several studies have shown that the adolescent groWth spurt and the age of menarche are influenced by the nutritional status during early adolescence. It has been shown that in girls belonging to different socio-economic status there is a statistically significant difference in the nutritional status as well as in the age of menarche.
