Studies on the Acceptability of Sorghum - Soya Blends in South Indian Dishes and their Keeping Quality

Soyabean is one of the cheapest sources of protein available today. It can be easily cultivated in a short duration of 80 to 90 days and it grows well on almost all types of soils both under irrigated and rainfed conditions In Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, the total area under cultivation of soyabean during 1983-84 was 615, 800 and 1,57,237 hectares and the production of soyabean was 4,40,300 and 1,17,369 tonnes respectively.
