Guidelines for the Eradication of Vitamin A Deficiency and Xerophthalmia

The report of the International Vitamin A Consultative Group (IVACG), gives in simple terms guidelines and recommendations for assessing the geographical distribution and magnitude of vitamin A malnutrition, developing interventions strategies and methodoly for correcting the problem of vitamin A deficiency: appropriate evaluation of the success and cost effectiveness of the implemented programmes; and research necessary to support the assessment intervention and evalution programmes.
