At its latest meeting, in addition to its usual tasks, the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives engaged in a special discussion about saccharin and cyclamates, considered the food safety aspects of enzyme preparations and examined the problem of the exposure of infants and children to contaminants in food.
