Least-Cost Multi-Mix Supplements:Development of Formulae to Fill Dietary Deficits of Preschool Children

This paper reports on the use of linear programming (an operations research technique) as a potential aid for theoretically formulating nutritionally balanced weaning mixtures from locally available food items which are generally available even in the impoverished tribal homes of India.
