Influence of Sulphur Supplementation on the Nutrient Utilization in Goats on Rations Containing Urea

The practice of adding sulphur in the ration of ruminants, where urea is incorporated was first initiated by Williams and Morrison'. The original idea was based on the finding, that urea was inefficiently converted to protein or that the protein synthesized by the microorganism was of poor quality.
