The Agency for International Development, Washington D. C. in response to world-wide food and nutrition problems has stated its policy as follows: "AID health personnel are now of the view that correcting serious protein deficiencies of pre-school children would make a greater contribution to development than any other health measure, malaria eradication sanitation and water supply not excluded.
