Influence of School Feeding Program on Nutritional Status of Children (5-8 Years) of Haryana State in North India

Inspite of having a lot of supplementary feeding and health based programs situated in local set up, nutritional status of preschool children, school age children and women in Haryana state did not show any improvement in the past decade. Supplementary feeding for all children upto VIII standard at schools and for women and preschool children at Anganwadi centers under Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) are the examples of presently running supplementary feeding program in Haryana.
