Distribution of Hydrocyanic Acid in Different Fractions during the Extraction of Leaf Protein from Cassava Leaves
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) tubers form an important and reasonably cheap source of energy to both human beings and livestocks in the tropics. The leaves of cassava also contain appreciable amounts of proteins and since large quantities of the leaves can be obtained at the time of harvest, this can profitably be utilized for the extraction of leaf proteins which will otherwise go to waste.
